George's Imports Ltd was founded in 1956 by George Schaffner with a vision to provide expert service for European automobiles in Kansas City. In the 1960s, the shop specialized in Citroën vehicles, establishing a reputation for expertise with French engineering.
In 1976, we transitioned to become a Saab specialist and authorized service center. Even after Saab discontinued operations, we continued serving loyal customers who loved these unique vehicles.
Today, under the leadership of Brad Schaffner, George's Imports Ltd continues the family legacy as Kansas City's only authorized Saab Service Center. While we maintain our Saab expertise and authorization, we now service all makes and models of vehicles, bringing nearly seven decades of European auto experience to every customer.
